We are a full-service bike shop with 6 mechanic stands, a truing
station, fitting station, hanging scale, and a drill-press. We also have
frame milling tools and other specialty equipment. Fred has been
working on bikes since 1970.
Tune-ups, repairs, what do you need?

First, bring in your bike

We will look it over and suggest a job that is appropriate for your specific
bike. For instance, if you bring it in for a tune-up but you have broken
spokes, we would suggest an initial repair followed by a tune-up. Or in some
cases a specific repair would be more beneficial than a tune-up. In the end
you decide which job you would like us to do.

Job Completion

When the mechanic has completed the repair, another mechanic runs
through the job with a fresh perspective and looks for anything that could
have been done better. Often times the second mechanic can find some
way to improve the end-product.

Servicing the bike

We make sure no hidden problems exist before we move through the bike
repair using Fred's "foundation system". Each segment of the bike needs to
be completed prior to moving on to the next stage. We keep one mechanic
linked to each bike repair in order to maintain continuity of knowledge of
each bicycle.
